The Importance of the Page Title

The page title is one of the important tags in your Web Page. It is used by the search engines to find keywords for the page. It is also the name assigned to a bookmark and a favorite in the browsers.

Make sure your site name is in your title tag and it has words that explain the content of the page. Focus on no more than three keywords the title. No want to make sure the keywords are in the page text.

Example - Successful Masstery provides Web design training and Dreamweaver training.

In Dreamweaver go to the Document toolbar and in the Title text box type your title.

Click out of the text box and Save.
