Using a Image Placeholder

There will be times when you will need to design your Web page before your images are ready. You can create image placeholders, which will reserve the space within a page for a specific image without having to place dummy images within the page. To create your placeholder:

Step 1: Select the location within the page were you want the image.

Step 2: Click the Image Placeholder button from the Insert Panel…Common.

Step 3: Set the following for the Image Placeholder:

· Name of the Image Placeholder

· Width and Height of the Placeholder

· Color

· Alternate text

Step 3: Click the OK button.
