The Alpha Dog of search engine -- Google and the pack of three -- Yahoo, Bing, and, Ask ignore the Meta Keyword tag. They look for the page keywords in the Title Tag. The Title Tag is now the King for page keywords.
Don't Forget - As you are working on your Web page in Dreamweaver -- Write a Title for every page that is unique for that page and list your important keywords for that page. Go to the Document toolbar and place your keywords in your Title text box.
