Using the Acronym/abbreviation Tags

If you are using acronyms or abbreviations in your Web page, I highly recommend you add the or tags to give the search engines and text readers the full text for each acronym or abbreviation on the page. This will provide the full text meaning for acronyms or abbreviations, plus a bonus if they are keywords for your page.

Example - < title="Hypertext Markup Language"> HTML or CA

How to (Done is CS4):

Step 1: Select the acronym or abbreviation.

Step 2: Click the abbr abbreviation or the W3C acronym button on the text pane in the Insert panel.

Step 3: Type the text in the Full text field.

Step 4: Press the OK button.
